Results are all that matter.

I'm not that interested in how we achieve them.
I am, as performances provide insight into two things unless you're a Capello team: upcoming matches and knockout matches in Europe.

You play lethargic football in the league all season, you can kiss European competitions goodbye unless you're extremely lucky.

I don't strive for mediocrity and no football club should.

I don't mean continually playing poorly and winning, I mean that I'm not bothered what tactics we use.

If we use Poulsen and Sissoko to kick the shit out of teams and play long ball I don't mind,so long as we win.

Exactly and the best example is Arsenal and Barcelona (bar their lucky year)

What the fuck is up with all this bullshit news about Arsenal, Man Utd, and Liverpool after Giovinco, that has to be the worst article Goal.com has ever written!

I think Giovinco will get alot of playing time. I still think we need to go with a 4-1-2-1-2, then Giovinco can play in his prefered position, right behind the two strikers. I also think Marchiso should start because i see potential in that kid, really do!

I believe there are truths to these Xabi rumors because they were in all sorts of press, not only Goal.com or La Gazzetta, but also Liverpool press and perhaps even Pool FC Television. It's pretty obvious we were after him.

Ranieri himself either didn't want him and chose Poulsen instead (which would just be absolutely retarded) or he's lying about this whole ordeal to save his ass or the boards', or perhaps Pool decided to keep him in the end because they realize he's actually a great asset. Either way, we were after Xabi.
I can't understand one thing Andy, if Ranieri would always pick Poulsen ahead of Xabi then:

Why Ranieri remained silent over a month of negotiation with Xabi?

Why did we waste all that time to figure out our real needs?

Why did Ranieri announce he picked Poulsen instead of Xabi for tactical reasons only days after the later negotiation collapse?

You wanna know why I'll tell you why, Poulsen was obviously a plan B, we fucked things up with Xabi and we couldn't reach an agreement as we always do, we needed a excuse so the board asked the man who think Juve is a tree to go to and do what he do best by telling us more of his horsecrap.

Xabi was always our number one target. That was obvious. But Liverpool werent settling for a price,as Rafa himself said.We had agreed personal terms with Xabi. His agent confirmed that. The issue was with the Liverpool managment. Its very unfair to put the blame squarely on Ranieri or the Juventus managment here.
