the more this transfer saga goes on the more I dislike it, I don't get why is RVP rated this highly as a CF, he is definitely not a traditional CF compared to Cavani for example, RVP is more of a SS; and his goal scoring record isn't godly either; Jovetic is a much bigger opportunity and better investment; why can't marotta see that?

Marchi Goggles does that to some.

City overall has a better team on paper than Juve no one can deny that, but that doesn't change the fact that City is an immoral mercenary team that wastes ridiculous amounts of money on players and drives general market prices up with their undeserved oil cash. It's an unsustainable business that will likely eventually falter unless they can create a real character to their club.

I think what we all fail to realise is that Arsenal has for the last few season been built completely around RVP - every tactical choice Wenger makes is with RVP's benefit in mind. He's a good player no doubt but it's the set up of the Arsenal team that makes him excel. Hard to see him getting that sort of set up in any other side and hence succeeding in the same fashion in any other side as he has in Arsenal.

most people think that way because they don't even know who sheik mansour is.

this guy is one of the main reasons behind dubai's growth. he is a master at creating long term plans. i very doubt he and his entourage that help him manage the club will leave anytime in our lifetimes

Maybe the business model of selling Millions of shirts to kids in Asia so they can buy the best players and sell more shirts enabling more success ad infinitum ad Nauseam has created a monster? city aren't the cause, They are an effect

Dubai's model has many questions over its sustainability as well. It was extremely hard hit by the GFC - some properties more than halved in value since immediately when it hit.

Well like i pointed out, Our owner is from Abu Dhabi. Nothing to do with Dubai. Abu Dhabi is one of the few world economies experiencing strong growth in these times of strife for many.

Abu Dhabi is stone throw away from Dubai. I do wish your club the best of luck for next season in any case. In a sense it's good to see Manure thrown off their throne.
