They do share some characteristics, but seeing as they would play in different roles, I don't see the problem of having both of them on the field at the same time. On the contrary, I only think it's positive to have two players upfront with the ability to do the unpredictable and change games, as long as one of them can be a lethal striker in a CF role.

It would have to be Mirko who would have to adapt. This he could do as he is pretty flexible.

In reality, I would be happier with either Matri or Quagliarella partnering up front.

The real issue is the service he will get that currently matches Song, Walcott et al at the Emirates. There, the service has been of a consistently high and accurate quality last season. in this connexion, we really need an attacking midfield player to support the efforts of Pirlo and Vidal.

Here, I would be happy if we acted decisively on either Giovinco or Nani. Both would make us very hard to beat in Serie A. Both of these can get the link up play into a truly cohesive state of affairs.

TBH I'd prefer Gio to partner RvP.

Wenger send him a text not to return to London after the Euros. Apparently he had a personal clash with him.

It's gonna be different at Juve. Many players have said that it's a club that really makes you know, and feel, how big the club really is. And besides, he'll have people like Buffon around him. Not to mention Nedved. You'd think he'd want to watch his behaviour around such epic heroic legends among men.

And besides, Wenger is a grumpy, bitter old man. For all we know, it could be him who told RVP to f*ck off because he's tired of players wanting to leave his cute, but petite little club.

I think I have some rage against Arsenal deep down. I was in the stands that rainy night when we lost at Highbury in the CL in 2006, you see. I was having problems with my ex girlfriend at the time, too, and we had a bunch of stuff to sort out that was pretty critical at the time. So before I went to London she said: "Seriously, if you go to the game, when we have all this stuff to figure out, I'm leaving. It's either me or the game."
