These sentiments arent nothing new, I read his father say this in a long article/report about Robin (before rumours of leaving started), that he wouldnt fit in Spain for those reasons (Barca due to wouldnt fit due to being 2nd fiddle to Messi, Real because they arent a well oiled unit his son prefers etc), they wouldnt want to buy him anyways btw, and also that he is too fond of Arsenal to go to another english side. But as I said, this is just his bohemian artistic father giving his opinion, not his agent or anything decisive.

If said or not doesn't change the fact they are true. Barca and real don't need him they have scored a combined 1 million goals ;) and pretty sure offense isn't what they are looking to upgrade. RVP comes off as a respectful person and I don't think he'll play for another EPL team plus his wife not wanting to go to Manchester says it all IMO

Isn't his father his agent or something close to it ?

Also sounds like something the Dothraki in Games Of Thrones would say to insult someone.

I'Emperatore (are you someone who changed username?, if you stop with the wishful thinking for a sec, all I am saying is RVPs father is just that, his father, not someone who is professionally representing him and makes deals/works on his behalf in official capacity. As a family member he has some insight and influence, but thats all there is to it, would only lead to dissapointment if you read too much into stuff like this.

Even with the reasons hi father gave, seems like it's perhaps been discussed in the famiglia. RvP comes across as a humble, no-nonsense ethical sort of guy with a strong moral code. Even if he doesn't eventually come to Juve, I will respect him for not going to Shitty. He's not homegrown at Arsenal to owe them the gratitude of not playing for another team in the Epl even though it would greatly enhance his financial and professional prospects. A lot of players have already done that. RvP seems like he's not an Ibragypsy mercenary. I'd love to have a player like that on the team, hes the kind you don't expect to sign seeing what a commercial circus, club football is these days. Especially when you're talking about a strapping, centre forward with a global image and bundles of talent. A marquee superstar player like this sounds ideal when you have spent two decades watching Alessandro Del Piero.
