No way, our defense then >>>> now even though now it's very good. The attack would still be way better then and CM would be a close match.

Serie a was 10 times better then but if we got rvp and suarez as well as asamoah and isla there wouldn't be much of a difference conte's side would be more of a flair, attractive side to watch as apposed to capello's hard militarty boring, pressing style of game

Arsenal players hardly live up to their hype when they leave the team. Hope he stays in Arsenal and we have someone else in mind , JoJo or Cavani.

Undefeated or not, that was a better team and Serie A was probably better at that time.
There is no probably about it.

That season was probably the last year of an era where Serie A was to be considered on par with the best leagues in the world. A league where the star players still wanted to come and play. It was also a league where the old guards of Serie A weren't old at all. Del Piero had just crossed the 30 year old plateau, Trez was still in his prime, Nedved was still a beast at 32, that defense was absolutely brilliant, Buffon was at the top of the world, a young Ibrahimovic, and that is just for Juve.

Look at the absolute superstars that were on Milan, Roma, Inter, during that time.

That was the end of a splendid era, so regardless of what this year's Juve squad did this season, which was beyond expectation and beyond brilliant, if you put them up against the 05/06 team, they would get destroyed.

All of the above was ruined by the relegation of Juventus

I do hope berlusconi sells milan and arabs or chinese take over and inject cash like man city, let's be honest we need more competition in serie a to attract the big players and i hope inter and napoli finish their stadiums as soon as possible

Serie A was already in decline by then, Calciopoli merely accelerated it.

Old and dilapidated stadium is the main cause of Serie A's decline and it will take at least 10-15 years until most Serie A teams get modern and privately owned stadium.

True. But let's win 10-15 scudetti while we wait for the others :)
