Del Piero had just crossed the 30 year old plateau, Trez was still in his prime, Nedved was still a beast at 32, that defense was absolutely brilliant, Buffon was at the top of the world, a young Ibrahimovic,and that is just for Juve.

Look at the absolute superstars that were on Milan, Roma, Inter, during that time.

That was the end of a splendid era, so regardless of what this year's Juve squad did this season, which was beyond expectation and beyond brilliant, if you put them up against the 05/06 team, they would get destroyed.
