Now that it is official that he is not gonna renew his contract and he stated that he wants a big Club to win something I think it just can be us.
If he wants more that is just possible with a handful Clubs like:

Milan... but he is not a free transfer and they have already Ibra.
Real... maybe, but it frees up Benzema or Hiquain and we buy one of those.
Barca... They have Messi, Villa and Sanchez and they play with a single forward so van Persie would be a expensive backup and I don't think he would be ok with that.
Manu... They have Rooney,Walbek and now bought Kagawa from Dortmund and aren't they playing a offense with Young-Rooney-Nani?
City... They have Dzeko, Tevez, Balo and Augero if they buy him it would free up Dzeko but Mancini also stated that he is not interested.
Bayern... They play with a single Forward and thats Gomez and they just bought Mandzukic as backup.
PSG... They have a lot of money and why not but I don't think that Pastore, Lavezzi and Thiago Motta is making a winning Team.
and last but not least...
Juventus ... Desperately looking to get a great forward!

Somehow thats a 1+1=2 situation or not?

For 17-20 Mio we sure can get him.
Why did you underline Juventus? Were you afraid we wouldn't find our favorite club? :D

You do know that you can see this thing from two different angles?

Milan.. If there is anything they'd pay for its a striker
Real... van Persie would walk into their starting lineup, he's better than Benzema and Higauin
Barca.. They have money and like to do fancy signings. van Persie can also play on a flank, especially if its in Barcelona where you basically not defined by one position
ManU.. They only have Rooney, why not add RVP?
City.. Hey, its City. They have money and they are the favorites to land him right now
Bayern..meh..
PSG.. They have money and this would be a prestigous signing for them. They need it. Would play Lavezzi and RVP while offering RVP some crazy amount of money he can't say no to.

Which brings us to Juventus.. They can't offer him the salary he wants and thats something a player of RVP's age values highly. Also, signing an expensive 28 year old striker doesn't go well with Marotta's philosophy.

See how I turned it around? But sure, I do agree we are interested and an alternative, but question if RVP wants Serie A and the smaller amount of money we're limited to.

Seems obvious to City.
This. Been saying this the moment I found out he wanted to leave Arsenal.

It seems as though we're gonna aim for Dzeko or possibly even Tevez. I'd be very happy with either of them TBH.

Oh and yes to Arsene Wenger being sacked. The guy is living off past glories, he really is holding Arsenal back big time. And is it 7 or 8 years without any major silverware?

i dont know what they are holding on to in arse wang. hes obviously done all he can for arsenal and im pretty sure their wont be any shortage of coaches who would like the opportunity to coach them. Fucking owners need to start spending some cash. atleast this season they did purchase a couple hopeful signings but i still dont think it shows their intention to compete against the riches or city, organization of man united and outright luck or Chelsea plush they have been upgrading their squad quite well this transfer market.
