Was watching Liverpool Arsenal yesterday and seeing how Robertson and Alexander-Arnold were bombing up and down the flank I'm guessing this is what Pirlo expects from his wingbacks since he's playing them so high in attack. Gosens would be perfect for this.

Yea, but seems like instead we are looking for Chiesa to play as RWB. Im not a big fan of Gosens since i dont trust Atalanta players anymore, but he does look like someone who could improve that left wing.

Oh we defenitely need Gosens and I would love it if we could get him. But what we disagree on is the urgency you feel in thinking its necessary to weaken Atalanta? I dont think thats something focus on much. If its Inter yeah, but them, nah.

Even more so when they are such a system heavy team. Gosens is a quality dynamic utility type of player, but replacing him for them wont be that of a daunting task with their playstyle. Hateboer I would not like to see in Juve, and he is performing almost as good as Gosens for example.

Atalanta can finish above inte*. Their attack is flank focused, ofc losing their star WB plus very good backup in Castagne will weaken them. Neither should sound surprising.

Urgency would have to do with filling own team's void with the right player, weakening Atalanta part is a nice bonus on top (can turn out very nice).

Benefits from system and they've had several good WBs, but he's the best so far. How's that level of production supposed to be easy to replace/replicate?

I think Paratici is going to lower the 16m agreed price for Atalanta to sign Romero in order get a lower asking price on Gosens.

Heard it here first.
