He's rather creative; flair, pace, dribbling, through passes.. Good workrate, disciplined. Against De Guzman i really don't see how you can blame Pereyra as Vidal tried a trick pass and failed and where were Lichtsteiner/Padoin? Can't blame the CAM for not defending well, it's not his job - he can put pressure on opposition but never tackle like a defender..

I think Roberto is in a scoring crisis, that's all. When he gets a goal his confidence will go up.
Rather creative? How many assists does he have?
Flair? No, haven't seen that.
Pace? Maybe but it counts for nothing when you don't get things done.
Dribbling? Also counts for nothing when there is no end product.
Through passes? Same question, how many assists does he have?

I am not blaming him for anything by the way, just pointing out how useless and unnecessary he is.

I see where you are coming from with this. I was sceptical about this signing from day one as he never really stood out for me at udinese something i posted when we were first linked with him. I honestly don't see what he actually adds to the team, i keep hearing how he's vice Vidal but other than his hair cut and latin looks he's not even a fraction of the player Vidal is even on his bad days. Tbh I already think this is an almiron-esq signing money that could have been better spent on buying Nainggolan or better

This. Also I think that Giach was better than Pereyra. It's only my opinion. His contribution to this team is equal to zero.
