What a minute, wasn't this guy supposed to be really good for us? Why was he sold for such a low amount?
Because he had a season plagued with injuries, looked pretty bad when he was fit enough to play and rejected teams which offered more. If he had stayed and played regularly his price could've gone up if he regained his old form, but that would be a gamble and presumably didn't line up with Allegri's plans.

Sad to see you go. I really like your direct forward runs and was hoping maybe this was the year you would break out. Good luck and goodbye.

It is not a secret that i never considered him Juve starter material and i was upset for the fee we have paid to get him.
But i am very glad for the ammount we have sold him. He is not a bad player, he also seem to be a good lad too, but he is just not Juve material! We hot him for 15.5 mil when he was 2 years younger and mamaged to sell him for 13mil 2 years later, after becoming a champion yet proving he cannot make the breakthrough to a starter slot in this level.
To be honest. I was expecting a much lower capital return from his sale, if any. Luckily the players prices are very inflated now and EPL can afford such ammounts, even for a limited player and we managed to close a good deal for all parts.
Fair well to this new adventure Juve legend!
