according to cds, it'll be a :beppe: style loan with option (3+22) kind of deal. if that's the way they do it, that's certainly a good one for inter. promising italian talent on a low risk loan deal.

The only player that I really wanted (and knew that the arrival was actually possible) in January was Gagliardini, because I believe that he is the perfect Marchisio replacement. Now he is going to inter, and if they really get him on loan+option, then we fucked up.

I wouldnt say Pjanic flopped but I can say I expect more from him and I doubt any other member here feel any different about him

If we weren't interested, I'll bet you Inda would not even be looking his way... Now they ( once again ) totally overpay for a promising midfielder. Fcuk I hate that disgusting excuse of a football club. Although my hate for them makes it hard for me to be objective, I dont understand why they buy another mf when they have much more pressing needs in defence? And although I only have watched him a few times, to me he looks very similar to Brozovic. If they have to buy a mf, then dont they need a DM as replacement for Melo? And I know people think he is a DM, but that is not what he played when I watched him play for Atalanta. Maybe he has the attributes to become a good DM, but why the fuck dont they just buy a real DM!!??
Now he is gone I hope he becomes the new Ranocchia and rot there. And yes I know I sound bitter, and yes I also wanted him. But not on those terms, and I didn't expect him to become an instant starter. He should have cost around 15 mil - max 20 mil.
Its like sitting at an auction and then this retarded fucked up stoker keeps overbidding you every time you make a bid on an item.

Gagliardini is good, but I rate Pellegrini higher.

Pellegrini:
- Technically better
- Over 2500 Serie A / Europa League
- All-round
- 20 years old
- Weak point: makes sometimes too much fouls

Gagliardini:
-Tactically better
- 850 minutes
- Less all-round, more a specialist in some attributes
- 22 years old (2 years older, so Pellegrini has over 6000 Serie A minutes left if he play everything and than Pelle become 22) That is a HUGE difference.

Both are great talents, but the point I want to make is, if you can choose between a prototype car with some bugs and that need some fixes or a car that is already tested and the results where positive, bot cost 30k which will you choose? Exactly the tested car with positive results and not the car with problems.

Gagliardini is the car with problems (read: lack of experience and a older model) and Pellegrini is the tested car. Both has plusminus the same price so why shouldn't we go all in for Pellegrini?

I believe mandragora or sensi could be useful as a pseudo mafchisio. We need to be careful in not spending redundant money

Yeah they could be useful, but neither of them showed anything so far in Serie A, I am not saying that Gagliardini showed a whole lot more, but in the games that I have watched, he really reminded me of Marchisio. Of course spending 30M on a player that has featured 13 times in Serie A is laughable, but if he comes on the basis of loan + option then, in my opinion, is worth a try.

If he costs WAY less then yes, but 30 mils for soemeone that can floppity flop and which we have no sure proof of him becoming worth of those 30 mils... then I say pass.

This kind of deals should be in the lines of rugani's.... But this one is way too expensive for no reason.

In football the nationalistic/home grown bias is understandable though because of regulations among other reasons. It's even more clear in England because they have lacked real English talents for years now. Thus City for example have had to overpay for English players in desperate search for players that could contribute in some way.

Roma have a buy-back option on pellegrini for 10mil. I agree pellegrini is better.
