As long as the game is actually played I won't regret a thing. Unless you're planning not to be involved then you'll ruin it to yourself :D

A Juventus legend no matter what ignorants say. Though I did not personally like him (who the fuck converts to buddhism?! and what about that ponytail...) but as a player he was out of this world for Juventus. Berlusconi used all his power to take from Juve but he is for sure one of the greats to play for this club.

Complete professional. Who am I to rate the great Baggio? However, neither Mr. Capello nor Mr. Lippi had a good relationship with him. But an incident to show how much professionalism he has: When Lippi was at Inter destroying them, he never started Baggio despite him saving his ass all the time. Baggio was fed up and told Moratti either I go or he goes. Inter had their last game of the season, and they were fighting for a champions league position, if they won they would have reached it. Moratti told him if Mr. Lippi gets a champions league spot he will stay. Baggio came in the second half, scored twice, and took Inter to the champions League then left.

At Milan Mr. Capello didn't use him much and when he did he was out of position (he prefers to play as a trequartista). Once they were in the team bus and Mr. Capello screamed in a loud voice (to make sure he hears him) something bad about his personality, so since then they couldn't stand each other. However, Roby didn't reply to him.

He fell out with Mr. Lippi since Mr. Lippi asked him which Inter players talked shit behind his back but he refused to say. Real man.

He's an example to follow.

He doesn't even know I exist.

How much did Berlusconi spend on him to transfer to Milan?
It was undisclosed. But Juventus were already grooming Del Piero to replace him, as it is always the philosophy of the club. Doesn't mind selling the stars when they are aging for cash and use younger ones. Baggio left because Juve told him to take a salary pay cut and then he will stay, so he left, not because of the money, but because he knew Juve wanted to focus on Del Piero, the boy of the club.

Monday 2 August, 2010
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Following a meeting with FIGC President Giancarlo Abete and Assoallenatori President Renzo Ulivieri, Roberto Baggio has agreed to join the Federcalcio.

The appointment of Baggio, as well as Gianni Rivera and Arrigo Sacchi, represents a u-turn in calcio management.

“I have given my availability for this job,” revealed Baggio.

“I am ready to take this challenge and become the President of the settore tecnico in Coverciano.

Il Divin Codino also revealed his excitement ahead of the possible appointment.

“It will be a tough job but entertaining as well,” he added.

“My role will cover several duties but first I will have to understand many things…”

Baggio is set to replace Azeglio Vicini and should be officially unveiled next Wednesday

Baggio: 'Robbed of 2002 World Cup'

Italy legend Roberto Baggio reveals he’ll never forgive Giovanni Trapattoni. “I should’ve been at the 2002 World Cup, even if I was in a wheelchair.”

The Divine Ponytail had recovered from an injury in record time, but was left out of the squad going to Japan and South Korea by Italy Coach Trapattoni.

“It would’ve been my fourth World Cup and I should have been there. It was right. It was sacrosanct,” he told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.

“Considering the career I’d had, I had that right. They should’ve taken me along and given me that chance, even if I was in a wheelchair.

“FIFA had just expanded the squads to 23 players and they did it so that Ronaldo and I could participate, as we were both coming off injuries and could’ve been considered a risk.

“One more man, what was the problem? Instead Ronaldo went, he was born again and he won the World Cup as top scorer. I stayed at home.”

Baggio’s rapport with the tournament has never been a good one, as he went out of three World Cups in shoot-outs.

“It really burns me to have lost the 1994 Final to Brazil on penalties. If you lose 3-0, then you can accept that. It’s better for everyone, both those who win and those who lose.

“Ask anyone, even those who won in Berlin, that they are happy with the victory, but would’ve been happier without the shoot-out element. Losing on spot-kicks is really painful.

“I have lost three World Cups, all on penalties. In Italia ’90 without losing a single game, as we won every one apart from the semi-final draw with Argentina.

“In USA ’94 we lost the Final with my penalty over the bar. At France ’98 in the quarter-final against the Bleus side that went on to lift the trophy, where I had scored my penalty. If you’ll allow me this, it really gets on my nerves.”
