No Mate, unfortunately it wasn't translated into english. It was in Italian, and my Italian needs improvement !! I did understand pretty much all Roby said, and the whole Trap situation just angered me again.

Like I said before, Roby deserves the chance to represent the Azzurri again !!!!

FORZA ROBY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame that is was in Italian  But anycase better than nothing... The most important thing is the film :)
I liked a lot the part of the beginning of his career in Vicenza and Fiorentina and of the controversial passage to Juventus, cause are ages ago and I didn't remember it so well.

The petition to translate Roby book in english reached now 570 signatures... going this way maybe Vittorio Petrone and the editor will convince themself soon to do it, so at list, you will be able to read it :) If you didn't sign it yet, here is the link:

i reckon baggio should just go along with his football, and dont pay attention to the promosing azzurri call.
id say 99% of italians (the 1% being hardcore delpi fans, no offence) wanted him in the team for the past 3 years, especially for the world cup, but still he was not called.... and look wat happend.

Trap can stick it up his ass! forza BAGGIO! play till ur 40!

Every NT match the player who has more chants and banners is Roby, also if is 3 years that he didn't play 4 the NT :touched:
He is the "azzurro of ever", the most loved Italian player always, and 4 his country soccer= Baggio.
IMO that has more value than all the caps he was denied in the NT 4 some unbelivable and stupid reasons...

He deserved to go to the WC, but has no sence 4 him to play friendschip and QE... it will be just a way 4 Trap to plaese peaple and to get their simpaty.
Trap schould go on with his NT with no heart, about who nobody care and to who Rai don't want to buy the "image right" anymore cause nobody watch it :D I don't want him to use Roby just to get some colors and fans "enthusiasm" back 4 his gray team...

thats right!

see, most people agree with me..

to see roby one more time in the azzurri bluem would be a great thing... but Trap is only doing it for one thing. To win over the fans.

But i will support baggio, watever he chooses!

Yes, if Trap really decide to call Roby back in NT I will support him both if he decide to refuse, cause it will be cause he's pist with Trap (and he has the right to be it) and if he accept cause he knows that this is the dream of the whole country so he will do it 4 the fans.

But we know that it will happen just cause the audience in TV of the NT is ridicolous, so sponsors and Rai obliged Trapattoni to call Baggio, cause Baggio is the one who make peaple stick to the TV.
If it was 4 Trap he will prefer to make Buffon playing as a playmaker than to call Roby...

P.S.: Did you dowload the video RB10?

Yep :thumb:
And the amazing thing is that all the video except the schort "career history" part is from the same year  unbelivable... I think is impossible in recent years to find somebody able to do all this things in just one year!
To quote Diego Maradona "Baggio is Baggio he's unique you can't compare him with anybody"
Usually is impossible to decide who is best soccer player of the world, is subjective, everybody will give you a different answer but when Roby was in his peak there was no history he's one of the few cases in which it was possible to say: "current status: best player on earth". :thumb:

i dont understand one thing. Why would a player who ruled football and was one of the greatest players ever, play for brescia (no offence to the club)
But like maldini, baresi, del piero, he should have stayed in one of italys more dominant clubs and ended his career there. i think he moved around too much.

The guy moved beacause he is really outspoken! (not to the media)...

he knew he was the best, and i think coaches didnt like that.. even his buddhist faith could of had an impact..

so discrimination, racism... he could have been even better if he was treated right.

and also the coaches that treated him bad have been all italian!

Lippi (juve)- gave him an ultimatem at juve : receive a 50% wage cut or leave

Something special could of happened there... just imagine...
BAGGIO - DEL PIERO... i dont see a better strikeforce.

Capello - sat him on the bench untill he was finally sacked

Lippi (inter)- promised him game time... but he got shit all.. and when he did start he played brilliant. also coming on as a sub and scoring 2 against real madrid.

and finally.....

Trapattoni- The catholic faithful put religion against performence and has not picked baggio for the national team. Despite players and fans wanting him in.

Imo isn't a religious o discrimination thing... is just that Baggio has a strong personality and is not that kind of guy who always say "yes" or schut up just cause he knows somebody has power or something like that... And most of all he is the most loved, he has always the fans by his side so if he's someweare all the rest will not have attention, and that probabilty boder some coachs or players... But also it have to said that probably he had some personality problems when younger... now I see him like I very responsable and mature men, he will never scream at the coach if he will substituted or things like that but I'm not sure he was the same some years ago. If he had the same personality he has now when he was at his athletic peak, maybe he wuoldn't have all those problems and obstructions he had by coaches.

An other reason is that Roby always had a very fragile physycal condition (he already had 5 knees surgery) and probably both Juventus and Milan when selled him tought he was "ended", nobody expected a player who at 17 was told he could never ever play football again to be playing (and very well) till 36.

Imo is a combination of all those reasons... teams thought it was not wort it to keep Baggio cause he is expensive, he may cause problems to coach and teammates due to his extraordinary popolarity and has such an unsure future cause of his knees. It was a mistake. Now they are probably all regret... nobody could imagine he could be playing so long.

Anycase the point is that here in Italy everybody want the spotlight, so knowing that with Baggio around it will be impossible cause he always has it all, they prefer to keep him far...

Btw remember that in Juve Baggio didn't fight with Lippi yet, he had problems with Moggi, Giraudo and Bettega (he said they are lyer and they have iron instead of their stomach and heart) and everybody know how powerful are those 3 in Juve and in Italian soccer too. Baggio and Lippi mess happened in Inter. The NT exclusion by Trap still a mistery but the point that many players (first Totti) didn't want him cause they weare afraid he will keep all the attention can be an option. Trap always say: "I do this 4 the group" so....
