Poland are first in the Group and will end up first, why do you keep saying that their qualification depends on the Sweden match?
If England beats Austria, they are 2 points behind Poland, yes? Wednesday is England-Poland, if we lose that one and drop to 2nd place in the group, we can get automatic qualification based on one of these conditions:

Czechs don't beat the Netherlands

Sweden beats Croatia

You will be the best second placed team, you mean. I think and hope Poland will end up winnig the group though.

FIFA World Cup™ hopefuls Uzbekistan and Bahrain played out a 1-1 draw in Tashkent in the rematch of the first leg of their Asian zone play-off match on Saturday.

The match was replayed following a refereeing error in the original fixture where Japanese match official Toshimitsu Yoshida incorrectly awarded Bahrain an indirect free-kick after an Uzbek player encroached into the penalty area before Server Djeparov converted a first-half spot-kick for the home side.

Bahrain got off to a lively start through Talal Mohamed, who dribbled into the hosts' box from the left flank to beat Uzbekistan 'keeper Evgeni Safonov with a precise shot on 17 minutes.

Uzbekistan, however, wasted no time in pulling the scores level and Dynamo Kiev marksman Maksim Shatskikh sent the ball home with a header from a team-mate's cross from the left only two minutes later.

After the interval the hosts upped the tempo and pinned Bahrain back. However, the visitors held their nerve at the back, soaking up attacks and replying on the counterattack.

The second leg of the two-legged tie will be played in Manama on 12 October and the winners will play the fourth-placed team from the CONCACAF region for the right to go through to Germany 2006.
:touched:

Now, we hold out for the 0-0 in the 2nd leg..

Becks carded off the pitch, hope for Austria perhaps :extatic:

With their golden boy off Eriksson will most likely take off Crouch really soon as well.

I was watching the Cameroon - Egypt match. That was the most boring play I have ever witnessed, the commentator said that he can jump in and play better even if he's 47 years old. I turned off the match.

I know :groan:
I *think* that if Holland beat the Czechs; both England and Poland qualify automatically regardless of what happens in that group as part of that "Group winners + the 2 best #2's" rule
