Turn back before it is too late. I installed Ubuntu and now I am all Linux!
Having done MS-DOS, Linux does not seem to be too hard. :) I just need to give it enough time.

do you have to be 'computer smart' to use Linux? I know Windows pretty good.
If you are comfortable with Windows then you should be ok with Ubuntu Linux.

Oh, Gee... I wonder what that scraped off stiker was?! ....

(terrible job at scratching that off may i add :D )
It was the ATI sticker, was coming off anyway so I took it off. If you're wondering where the "designed for Windows XP" label has gone, it was surgically removed before the first time I powered on the laptop, no trace of it now :)

I thought it was the XP label. I could just imagine you scraping it off frantically with your fingure nails as soon as you got the PC! :D

I'm sure there's something you could remove that with. Don't know if they sell it in Europe, but Goo-gone is pretty good for removing those stuff.

Actually, the WinXP sticker I removed with a scalpel (don't ask why I have it :D), but it was so hard to get rid of it that I ripped the plastic a bit, so there's a scratch now. Worth it though :D

Did you checkup the PageMaker file type support? It's got a .P65 extension.

What in God's name do they use to stick it on?

Downloaded the Breezy Badger. Doing the install later today.
Have discovered that I have to install KDELibs for Amarok to work. Going back to readme files ... Any tips highly appreciated.
