He's an AM who can play off the wing as well, so I suppose we do. Whether he is worth the money or going to be good enough for Juve remains to be seen. He got 7 in 17 games for Empoli since January, so he's actually adding some numbers to his skill. I suppose if we pay €13m or whatever for him and he stays on loan at Empoli and keeps that form up it looks like a bargain.

Next year I would say fullback is more of a priority, but we seem to have money to spend to pay €10m for someone like Vrsaljko. This year we still have options:

We basically look set as long as Caceres is fit.

I'm not convinced asamoah will quite cut it as an orthodox left back, evra being another year older could be a concern. rb we are riding our chances on the fitness of caceres. As much as I like caceres I can't help but think it would be a better idea to sell him and bring in someone more reliable (fitness wise) to say the least

Sky Italia now saying something similar but that the deal is likely to be confirmed subject to medical on Friday.
