Are you telling me that England's best XI isn't capable (in theory) of beating any team in the world on their day?

Like I say, I can't see it happening, but it's not impossible.
It's a strong eleven but not as good as Brazils or Spains in my opinion. Not to sound arrogant but other than those two I think we could beat anybody else on our day. I think we'll get to the semi's but thats it.

I think England can win it. If they're at their best when they meet Spain or Brazil and their opponents aren't, they probably will win it.

Of course, England don't have the best team.

However, they aren't that far behind the best teams and upsets can happen.

They won't win the World Cup unless they have learned how to take penalties, though.

Lets hope the Don works on that. I just hope we give the USA a good thrashing to apease Andy, anything else is a bonus for me.

    :howler: ridiculous question

    Ribery is a superstar.
I don't question that. I am just saying he is way overrated by many and I could easily pick 10 players better than him. He is not top 10 in the world.
When you say he is top 5 but there are many better than him, then you are overating him and that's why I meant when people/media overate Ribery.

Come on, don't be biased and judge Kaka on this season alone. Talent wise Kaka is miles ahead of Ribery and most of the players around. Kaka proved his worth on the biggest stages. Kaka is step ahead of all but Messi , Ronaldo, Xavi and Iniesta, if it wasn't for his recent injuries then he is top 3

disagree about the ones in red, Gerrard and Kaka arguably are better players.
First of all, let's not just based our opinion on that season alone. I am shocked to see that you disagree on Xavi and Essien. Those 2 are the best in the business when it comes to CM.

@ Nick 19: Don't judge him based on his England performance or this current season with Liverpool. Gerrard has been performing at a top level for some time even though he is a big cunt
