Kiwior is really underwhelming, Tomori unavailable, Hato is LB and Hancko won't be sold in January.

In Motta's head Gatti is probably the one certainty of not moving in our defence. If I had to guess, I could see Kalulu at fullback when everybody's fit.

Yes, according to news they wanted outright sale or obligatory, we wanted option, in the end they settle for dry loan for some reason.

An option is never an advantage. I get it from their part.

It would be if chelsea want to keep him.and send to us to give some matches,but thats not a case,chelsea do not want to keep him.
It would be easy for us to get him if we want in the end of loan.

Chelsea have like countless left-sided defenders. Cucurella, Colwill, Chilwell, Badashille. He was last choice out of all those players. Some of them aren't even that good. He couldn't close a buy deal for a 5th choice left sided defender? If he was a 5th choice goalie, which Chelsea actually has, I bet he would have closed that deal, wouldn't he.

Veiga is left footed. So I'm assuming this will allow Kalulu to play on the right side of CB.

he's a short term solution, that's the reason. we don't have a guaranteed cl qualification and we're expecting both bremer and cabal to recover. we probably have a deal for hancko in the summer too

if this guy can do what danilo (also on expiring contract) could then it's an acceptable deal. if he's worse than danilo's corpse then it's not

CB was main priority for depth and that guy is doing it. RB was main priority for a starter, as Savona is just too bad on the ball to start here. I don't know if this Alberto Carlos will be better than him, but at least we can say we spend the money on the position that needed a starter.

It is a january and there arw only few options,so i dont think that this player is our first choice but we need versatible player which can play in many positions.
We have to much injuries so thats why we are getting him only for six months. No one would like guintoli to buy him for 25 m because it is a gamble right ? So we are safe in this case,bremer will be back on summer but also there would be many choices for cb and we will not be limited.

Based on this it is around £1.3m gross (€1.55m gross) a year. that's €775k for 6 months. If we pay Chelsea €4.5m, it means €3.725m is a loan fee without option for a player they bought for €14m. quite expensive
