Lots of money + Cassilas is such a good deal we would be mad to reject. Although Buffon is by far the best keeper in the world and one of the players fans come to Delle Alpi for, replacing him with one of the best keepers available and getting a lot of cash to strengthen other parts of the squad sounds like a deal Moggi would accept.
I wouldn't actually mind a swap for Cassillas, lets say a 30million + Casillas. It wouldn't be that bad actually, we can build a defense so that casillas don't have to do that much, then again Buffon is the most concentrated goal keeper (he can go a whole 80 minutes without a touch on the ball, then make a brilliant save!), so I think to some aspects we'll definately lose quality between our goal. But still, I Keeper can't make all the difference, as long as we dont have van der Sarr as our keeper we'll do fine!
True, but ur fogetting if Casillas is part of the deal, your getting disposable income on the transfer, which means out of the 20, we dont need to spend a single penny on a new keeper. I think Casillas plus 20 would be a good deal. But to be honest, Real will only be too foolish to make a transfer along such lines. Works fine for me though.
