It's not a fair draw. Why couldn't we have got a crappier team to play against? Look at the other draws:

Leverkusen vs Pool
PSV vs Monaco
Werder Bremen vs Lyon

Surely we could have either Pool, PSV or Bremen :(

I don't fancy playing Real despite all the optimism shown - they ARE Real Madrid after all. They have a team of world class players. Either way, let's hope our team is in a great shape come Febuary, and we must try to avoid conceding.

We have a great defence, but we dont seem to score alot of goals. 1-0 all the way to the final would be superb for me though :)

No matter what we say,at the end of the day,Real Madrid are world class. They have the best players in the world and on their day they could tear us apart.

Form isn't really a factor when facing Real, simply because you never know which one will show up-the reckless gung ho 11 indviduals,or wonderfully fluent and brilliant attacking team.Alot of people are going to be overconfident and shoot them down when they misfire and that's going to be a potential banana skin.

You can never be too careful with Real.

Its pretty simple the way i see it. To start with we're a couple of months away from facing them, and i think the situation of both teams at that point of time will determine what they each bring to the table when they go at it. Besides which, to me Juventus, if anything is stronger than the team that went to Madrid 2 seasons ago. While Madrid, on the other hand are more or less on the same level and stagnating with each passing month. It should be an exciting two games. But Juve definitely have the edge, considering the 2nd leg is in Turin, this time as well. If we can pull of a win at the Bernabeu, the tie will be dead and buried.

Anyway, Juve-Madrid is worthy of gracing a final, but to me the most intriguing and mouth watering clash is that of Milan and Man. U. Inter are underestimating Porto way too much, that could hurt em.

Meeting Real Madrid is not what I'm expected cos El Real is my 2nd fav team. But anyways, I'm so glad that we don't meet Barcelona at this stage. They're on fire at the moment.

Alessandro Del Piero admits it will take a “perfect Juve performance” to get the better of Real Madrid in the Champions’ League.

“The draw has pitted us against one of the contenders for the trophy,” the captain told his official website after the second round draw in Nyon.

The Spaniards only scraped through the group phase in second place behind Bayer Leverkusen, but Del Piero is not putting his team up as favourites for this tie.

“I’m none too convinced by Real Madrid’s difficult time of late. Barcelona are dominating La Liga with some incredible results, but we mustn’t forget that there are several European Players of the Year in that squad and quality does show in the end.”

It’s a familiar scenario for the Bianconeri, as they faced – and eliminated – the Merengues from the competition in 2003. Fans will be hoping for a repeat of the stunning 3-1 Turin victory on March 9.

“Madrid will be ready to play the perfect game once the tie comes around,” concluded Del Piero, “so Juventus have to provide an equally perfect performance to beat them.”

Del Piero scored one of the three goals in Turin that overturned a 2-1 first leg defeat in 2003.

Real are like a wounded animal right now....they are not doing as well as expected, and they will be dangerous.......

I hope for the best, but am not convinced at this point. If we have Trez back, we;ll have a decent shot at defeating them

All we gotta do is being determined to win on spanish ground. We must play aggressive and not give them space. And we need to play rough-tough ;)

If we play like we played against milan our CL is over , we will be kicked in the coming round:(

Thanks to Allah that we got Real...... Nesta and Gattuso blocked all of Juve's attacks... If we had a team with an orginised defence like Milan we will never qulify .... We do not care about our opponents attack ... If Milan failed to pass by Cannavaro and Buffon then no one will be able to.
