Yeah, but knowing Real Madrid, they probably heard that Canna has scored a few game-winning goals for us, and thus they are interested in having him as a backup for Cassano. :p

the first time time that madrid are trying to sign the right player.too bad the right player probably doesnt give a flying fuck about madrid:D
:agree: :agree:

but when they signed samuel from roma, i thought, they did a right thing, they signed a right player. But....we can see what happened.

about samuel.. i think he is a very good player. one of the best defender in the world right now. but he is again chose a wrong team again.
can we just sign him for all sake?? can moggi do something??
we currently need a defender badly, and i think samuel is someone that we need. and he need us to regain his prime performance.

Why would they want him; so he can also join their retirement team. Perhaps they see him as a good signing for their aging defence!

Daft story and without any credence.

Cannavaro’s Real temptation
Thursday 27 April, 2006
Real Madrid are lining up a bold summer swoop for Juventus stopper Fabio Cannavaro.

Recent reports from Spain suggest that the Bernabeu club are ready to table a three-year contract offer worth £4.8m per season in a bid to prise the Azzurri captain away from the Stadio Delle Alpi.

Cannavaro joined the Bianconeri from Inter two years ago in an exchange deal for Uruguayan goalkeeper Fabian Carini. While Carini is yet to make his mark in Milan, Cannavaro has gone from strength-to-strength in Juventus colours.

Now the Spanish giants are set to rebuild the defence that has long been their Achilles heel around the Neapolitan defender.

Cannavaro has enjoyed another solid season for the Old Lady, but will be glad to turn the attentions of the Press away from his horror challenge on Gaby Mudingayi during last weekend’s draw with Lazio, which has brought widespread criticism.

It appears that the defender’s future plans may also have an impact upon the future of his Coach Fabio Capello. The two have a close relationship in Turin and if one were to depart for Madrid the other could be expected to follow.

What a story. So tedious.

Cannavaro is our player of the season by a mile and is probably the least likely departure from Juventus this summer.

I can understand why Real Madrid would want to move for him, though, because he's got 2 or 3 great years in him left, of that I'm sure.

Just like Maldini, this champion of galactic proportions just won't know and won't care when his time is up and will keep on going and be great for years to come!

Cannavaro is great and no one can deny this, but honestly, i think that one of the resons behind Cannavaro's success in Juve is the ex-parma triangle.. Thats why if he goes to Madrid, he wont fit in well with likes of Woodgate and co.

So Canna... Plz stay

well said, it's known in organisation theory , that the environnement of a company helps new ones to adapt quickly. so canna find him self with his partners and collegues from parma that's why he's doing good so far last two seasons

It's funny how the media wants to create tension in the Juve camp. Now that Milan is out of the CL and only 3 points of Juve in Serie A you see piles of news like this one and others like Gigi to Milan, Vieira and Zlatan get into a brawl(they just said to the other to f*ck off, like that never happens in your own team), Canna should be stripped of the Azzurri captainship....
