Big Mistake by Real Madrid! Raul and Guti should have retired in Real.. And big teams like real need players which show identity of club and represent it and also as a symbol for new players and for fans... Pity for real fans!

But Real could offer new contracts to them with cut off in payments and make a situation for them to retire with Real Madird and I believe that Raul still is a very good striker.. Who can be Madrid' 3rd or 4th striker.

So can you tell me why Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs still play for United? Why Totti still plays for Roma? Zanetti plays for Inter? and many other playes in same situation...

Beside from just technnical point of view, there are other factors that should be considered when you see player like Raul and Guti with 15 and 24 years in one jersey.. I believe one of factor behind Milan problems is Maldini retirement of football from Milan.

I think this was mistake when Raul and Guti leave real in 2 days... I don't want to see Juve without Del Piero and Buffon. I prefer to have 3 or 4 players like them in Juve.. As you see every new player in big team refer to players like Del Piero and Buffon in their interview.

You need these players for image of club, for motivation of new players, for fans. Anyway, this is how I see this issue.

Raul could have stayed if he wanted to. He didn't want to stay, because he wasn't ready to sit on the bench.
