To be fair, it looked good at that time. The Arthur - Pjanic swap was decent in everyone's eyes, Morata for Pipita also not that bad, Weston for Matuidi didn't look that bad either, Chiesa for DC a clear upgrate + we added Kulu who was the best u20 player in Seria A last season (he had 10G 10A in Parma I think). We got rid of MdS and Rugani, also not bad. Loaned out Pjaca, Pellegrini, sold Mandragora and Portanova for a decend amount..

Not offloading Ramsey, loaning out Romero, not getting a good LB rotation player and not getting a backup ST were the downsides. It looks like that getting Pirlo was the biggest mistake though. If we had Allegri with this squad, we would at least be second in Serie A and we would go past Porto in CL that is for sure.

That's because it was a 7 Mercato and a 0 coach appointment, în hindsight.
Divide that by 2 and you get a 3,5 season

It's pretty obvious by now.
