Does he fulfill the checklist? Let's see

Young - Check
Italian - Check
Winning Mentality - Check

Yup, he's the new Prandelli

(Still, of all the possible options, he'd be my choice if Ranieri were to leave this summer)

 ..I mean an example of a young coach is Guardiola not Gasperini. Anyway, Gasperini is a great one. I wish he replaces that scarecrow.

Vialli ; Is no one and we already rejected him once... because of his salary...

Spalletti ; took my vote, i kind of respect him and i thought that he is worthy of at least one vote... He has the exp of leading a top club.

Prandelli ; This man has some issues and he avoids the highest pressure, IMO he is < Spalletti, but a good coach, who knows serie A

Mancini ; A failure, no one wants him, why should we? He can barely win the title having the best squad at his disposal. We need someone who can do that with a handicap.

Grant ; Who?

Rijkaard ; O comon, he is not any better than Scolari... let Milan get him!

Conte ; He is not ready yet, maybe in 5-6 years from now

Gasperini ; Promising, but overrated in these forums, he is not proved at the highest levels with a big team. But he is def someone we should consider in the future and one of the finest choices of this poll.

Malesani ; This has to be a joke, you cant be serious dont you? Whats next, Zenga?

Most of those coaches are worse than CR and our board's policy hasnt changed yet. If we cant make a real upgrade to our coach, we should not waste our time with a new coach just for the shake of it...

i think a lot depends on the board's plan here. If they have an eye for Lippi after the world cup ( certainly a valid option) then there is no use replacing Ranieri now but keep strengthening the squad until then and he can put the finishing touches on it ( as we will probably need to find a long term understudy for alex by then along with other players).

If lippi is not in their plans, then if we find a suitable replacement this summer.
Makes sense.

Lippi is certainly in their plans...the mgmt. know that all of their mistakes will be instantly forgiven if they can get Lippi back...in any case, it is better to hang on to Ranieri until we can really identify a guy who will take us straight to the top

Wasn't it said that Lippi is in the plans and that's why he pushed Juventus to get Cannavaro?
