How do you guys like the idea of a coach who has absolutely no serie A experience, both as player and coach?

Do you think it's time to try something new, something different from the Italian school of football, or do you think it might reflect negatively?

Guys like Benitez, Mourinho, Wenger, even Hiddink, brought something new in the football played in England, but in Italy Jose Mourinho is the only non-Italian coach in serie A in the last god knows how many years. (not counting Cuper and Mihajlovic, who were coaches only for 2-3 months).

I know that the Italian coaches and the way they think aren't the main reason for the fall of serie A. It's much bigger than that. But if the italian teams weren't so predictable with the way they play, it might be a step in the right direction.

Personally i'm still undecided if i want a drastic change or not.
I thought about it last night and the most revolutionary action that can be done is to assign Nedved.

To sack Ranieri.

Maybe denco will be willing to us out.
I'd sign the petition but it has to be written in Italian. Ask Mark to do it.

Secco: "Stop a speculazioni: Ranieri resta alla Juve"
Then as I said, he has to resign himself. It's only logical.

Yeah, I saw that. Pretty funny.
It is destiny that Giovinco won't play.

I think they'll star one either at J1897 or VS. Let's wait and see. If they don't then we'll make one in English and send it to C4 and Goal.com(?) :p

I'd add two coaches; they're not 'available' as in unemployed, but they play at smaller clubs and would likely be interested:

i) Louis Van Gaal. Currently at AZ and won the title hands down this season. Coached Ajax (won the CL and mulitple titles), Barça (two titles + cups), the Dutch NT (and that was a fiasco - failed to qualify for the WC).

He stated he won't renew his contract after 2010. He is being contacted by the Belgian FA to take on the NT on a part time basis so he could continue coaching AZ in the meantime.

ii) Eric Gerets. As a coach he won many titles, in Belgium (Lierse and Brugge), in the Netherlands (PSV x2), in Trukey (Galatasaray) and could now bring back l'OM to its past glory. His an idol in Marseille, a strong coach who is admired and respected by his players.

In the past days, a lot of speculation has risen as to whether Gerets would stay. He apparently refused a contract and tension rises at the Velodrome.
