@JuveJay just decided it was pointless to continue :lol2: :lol2:
Lol I didn't see his reply, but good one.

We're the only club we care about who do, at least.

At point of sale I'm not sure we undersold Huijsen, but it was obviously risky like it can be for any player with talent. In hindsight we undersold almost every young player whose then gone on to improve their level (Huijsen, Dragusin, De Winter). Savona might be another for the list, but whether that's 16-18m or 20m, he could be worth 50m in two seasons (would be our luck), doesn't mean he's worth 50m now.

This will continually bite us because we're selling youth players who have potential for profit, so we can operate, and then ultimately waste it on big signings who are flopping.

Aside from the financial aspect, if you give Huijsen and De Winter 800-1200 mins per season as a squad player they're not going to develop the same way. I'd certainly keep some of them, however, and paid loans for others.

Who knows wtf is going on. Seems like different people making the same mistakes each time. Is it a club issue, are they hiding the real difficulties off the field or is it just constantly bad decision making? As I said before, if they struck gold with the big signings we'd probably care a lot less, but we can't flop with both.

Talk is cheap, What is happening behind closed doors is what we need. We have been produced many homegrown players and they have been sold and we're making a profit, no doubt , although the amounts are insignificant compared to their real value and what they could have delivered. Bentancur, Romeo, Kulusevski, Mbangula, Huijsen nd etc. I don't say all of them were sold under the value but there is one point in common in all of their sales: we never allowed them to reach their full potential at Juventus and their talent was never established when Juve owned them. This isn't about the guys who are managing the business but the whole staff and team.

Indeed.
We attack our guys for selling him for 18m, but did we ever wonder why didn't Roma, who played him for half a season, want to buy him and went for the more expensive Soule? Why didn't other richer serie A clubs try to get him? Marotta's Inter for example. Why didn't a big club offer to buy him? Why didn't Real offer 20m in 2024 instead of 50m in 2025?

We didn't undersell him at point of sell. But we also didn't predict how he'll develop.

Doesn't matter. We still are the laughing stock of world football in the transfer market, as we should be. Yildiz had a horrible Euro tournament, but thank goodness we kept him.

Hopefully the rumors about Plusvalenza's are true and we can't do them anymore. Something needs to save ourselves from our own stupidity.

or you could continue to show that you don't bend to other clubs will, probably not the worst long term policy
making a deal that benefits all parties isn't bending over

it's a case of who blinks first. the player missed the pre-season already, i'm fine with comolli doing a deadline day deal. we're overpaying either way

I remember there also news that PSG interested and our asking price is €25m. In the end PSG bought Zabarnyi who is Huijsen CB partner from Bournemouth a year later for €63m fee.
We can say PSG also miss on Huijsen

#PSG is not lowering its demands for #KoloMuani, it still wants 65 million. The gap with #Juventus is 8 million, to sign the Frenchman another attempt should be needed. @OggiSportNotiz2

We always make the worst possible deal, wait and drag it out to the last days and they bend us at the negotiating table. The guy in the charge never gets it right and keeps repeating the same mistake.

This will not end well I feel, Kolo must be feeling quite pissed that if this doesn't go through, and will either rush a move elsewhere or out of spite tell Juve to fuck themselves as it'll cost his place in the NT in a world cup year...

Its clear that we are broke, so no hate from his side...I hope that our management didnt give him any promises after fifa world cup that we will sign him, because dissapointment he will have, will be huge. Maybe he could went in any oher club but he waited for juve, now he will be stuck in psg's bench.
