this is probably the truth
sell on clause too? nice

plus someone reported easy conditions for the obligation

again, these are close to those rumored kolo muani numbers. and psg allegedly walked away because they wanted an obligation, while jj wanted an obligation tied to cl qualification.

i really don't get how jj operates. we conduct a fairly reserved mercato, avoid overspending, negotiate for a proven player who only wanted jj for months, then splash out a similar amount for someone else with similar conditions that psg suggested. anyway, i really hope openda is worth the investment, because kolo muani would have been a bit too expensive for what he can potentially offer

either way, we still don't have a vlahovic replacement as all of our attackers we signed this summer are tiny for a proper 9

I think the problem with straight obligation is that we are actually counting it for this financial year, if we agree on obligation related to some other parameter then we can count it for next year.

Too bad he'll not be part of JJ. He really started to grow on me last season after his great half season
We can blame vlahovic Psg and Giuntoli for the failure of this transfer but it is what it is. I hope he will have a great career because hes an excellent player.

Similar amount? Kolo was rumoured to cost 8 mil net per season and at the very least 10 mil higher in transfer fee too. How is that similar?

Problem is we're left hanging for a proper 9 next season. If we have a good season, we'll be an attractive destination again. If we don't.......

Hopefully.

Why could we had done a straight loan if that's the case tho?
We dont know what will be the loan fee - maybe thats the problem. I can see Spurs paying more than 10m for loan with out option.
If u pay that much its not really a good idea to not have any buy option or obligation.
