I'm not sure if they lost because he is going to play in the Premier League so if he has a good season he will be worth much more than he would have been worth after a good season with us. On the other hand, it's Tottenham, so he might end up with 5 or 6 goals to his name regardless of how well he plays.

yeah it may work out for them but it was also obvious they didn’t have a backup plan and had to scramble once Juve pulled out. They probably thought they had the leverage considering how bad Kolo wanted to stay. Makes me feel good about the guy in charge, he isn’t gonna bend for these assholes.
