I assume most of the options available to you are cheating. I don't think Mohammed was taking into consideration that people would be able to get on a plane and land halfway across the globe in a matter of hours. If he had known that he'd make the rules way stricter.

Have you heard about Israa? It is not that different from having a plane.
In addition, it was not up to the prophet to make the rules so it is not up to him to make them easier or stricter.
