Frankly such a transfer would be ridiculous, and I find it hard to believe that even Alessio Secco, one of the most calamitous transfer directors I have ever seen, would consider swapping one of Italy’s best young prospects for a 32-year-old “has been” on crutches

Secco is all-famous ............. for the wrong reasons

Alex grins, Palla ponders Monday 11 February, 2008

Alessandro Del Piero was delighted with Juventus’ win over Udinese, but Raffaele Palladino could be packing his bags for England this summer.

Juve struck a crucial blow in the battle for Champions League qualification with a 2-1 comeback win at the Stadio Friuli and Del Piero set a captain’s example for the full 90 minutes.

“We got a very important win against an excellent Udinese side who showed why they are having such a good campaign by taking a first-half lead,” Alex stated on his personal website.

“But in the second period we reacted in a way that enabled us to take control of the game.

“We chased down every ball and put pressure on them with a more aggressive approach. In the end we got two very good goals that allowed us to take all three points.”

Despite receiving the Azzurri call to play against Portugal in last week’s friendly, young star Palladino was again only given 20 minutes to shine.

The former Livorno man has stressed his desire to play regular first-team football and reports suggest that Arsenal may be ready to swoop for the 24-year-old this summer.

Palladino has admitted his love of the English game and it is suspected that he would be happy to leave Turn, especially if the Bianconeri strengthen their squad in pre-season.

Sources suggest that Arsene Wenger is ready to table an impressive offer as he is looking for versatility in his front men.

Well if he is going to make trouble because of the playing time he should just leave and change to the Arsenal bench. I really like him but he has to realize that he has 3 world champions in front of him. Did you see Iaquinta moaning because of the little playing time? I did not...the opposite was the case:rolleyes:

Give that kid a chance. We did the same thing with Henry, playing him wide while he actually is a striker. Don't make the same mistake again. I believe Palladino is a good player for our future.

I like Palladino, but he has to know his role. He's surrounded by world-class strikers... arguably one of the best striking-cores in all of Europe. He can't expect to supplant Del Piero and Trezeguet... even Iaquinta doesn't expect that.

He's going to have to make the most of his playing time, improve, and in a year or two, one of those forward spots might be his... or he might inspire his coach to play a trident, that he can be a part of, since he's proven he can play wide.

Thats kind of odd, i bet it was mistranslated or there is smth fishy going on,
since Palla, aways remind that he is so happy of being here and he understands the situation. As long as we dont bring Amauri or smth like that, there is no reason for Palla to leave...

Could not agree more. He needs to shut the fuck up. Furthermore, Secco needs to hold steady and send a strong message you can't talk your way out of town.

he's just 23. he needs to realise he's potentially a future prospect for us... maybe even a replacement for Delpie or Trez... who knows!

but u can understand his frustration, waiting for a few more years till he gets his first choice place is ridiculous!

All Palla does when he bitches is alienate himself from his teammates. When you're behind three World Champions, chances are you're not going to see as much time. Next year however when Juve rocks the CL, they'll need more depth. That's when Palla will have his chance to shine. Until then, just shut up. And if you want out, do it gracefully by staying quiet.

It would be so sad tolet him go. We didnt had a good prospect from our younger team ina long time.

But also he need sto understand his position-

What about being quiet and train a little herder?. Also , patience is a virtue.

I dont know why, but of all the benches... i feel that he has a good chance to shine in the future, of course in juventus.

He just needs some more playtime and some more patience. His time will come.

Man you guys are the reason the media's have a living. He didnt bitch and moan, where in that article does it say he said anything? He was benched as usual, and they deduct he must be unhappy and recycle the same crap. They deduct that he must be unhappy and feel important because he played in the NT but not for Juve (despite the fact he was benched before his NT calls).

All in all, repeat and recycle the same fabrication all the time (like the extremely loose and bogus Arsenal rumour, only team to be rumoured to him a while back, so they just repeat it). And you are quick to judge the players for it (not all of them call them out on their fabrications like Diego did).

He might feel like this, and its between the club and him, but he said zip, but you are too eager to job him and act like he said he want to ditch Juve without saying a word. He is training and working without saying shit. blatant lies dont change it just because you buy into crappy articles that say pretty much everything in their shitty titles. Give me a break.
