PallaDingo better not be too confident about himself. He has shown us very little thus far this season.

I'll even say that Donadoni is wrong in calling him up, but apparently that guy is wrong about a lot of things.

Though palladino is going to play as a right winger as Donadoni is playing Toni as a lone striker with support from Di natale from the left and Perotta in the middle it just seems like madness to me to call up a player that has just 3 seriea goals in his career.

He scored 2 for Livorno in 22 matches and 1 for us this season apparently though I dont recall him scoring.

Its interesting that he seems prolific in serieB but not in serieA.

Where do they get their news from? Arsenal want palladino again? When did they want him initially and pray tell where would he play? Not a chance that Wenger would play him as a striker.

Maybe Wenger can offer Van persie or fabregas for his services and we get some forum members saying no to the idea

i saw the game ... nd azzurri really tell that for what they r campione del mondo .... nd our`s palladino has done a good job there like winger ... i dont know why at juve he doesnt show too much ...

It's reported that Palladino will start together with Toni upfront. He better watch out for Cristiano Ronaldo to learn how to dribble properly.
that ronaldo or what ... he was a shit(except a one kick with head) ... a best player at porugal team was Quaresma...

He could have scored a magnificent goal but it was tipped on to the cross bar. HE also set up a great chance.

He is clearly a better player on the Left than he is on the Right. ans he has a go at shooting and seems to get by players much easier. I like him alot and hope he gets more chances up front for us.

I think a formation like this would be good to try sometime:

Palla---Trez---Del Piero

-----Nedved/Camo----

Zanetti---------Sissoko

Palla should defn play on the left though when he does play

Sadly it's probably never going to happen.

i don't see why not. Ranieri usually played with 4 attackers, DP, Trez, Nedved,Palla/Iaquinta ... in a 442 it is just a matter of arranging it differently on the field. with nedved or camo playing centrally and Palla on the left with DP as a right forward. It will give the offense much more explosiveness and creativity.

The defense also would not be compromised given Zanetti's ability to snuff out danger and Sissoko's tireless workrate in the midfield.

I think it could easily work. It would also be an effective weapon to be able to make a drastic change to the offense without having to make a sub (if palla does start on the right midfield in a 442 .. he can switch to the left) or if Camo or Nedved are having a poor game we have another outlet.
