Palladino Has Learned His Lesson

The Juventus starlet spoke to the media about Sunday’s incident with Alesandro Del Piero and the respect he has for the Juventus captain.

The Old Lady were in scintillating form as they ran rampant and wild over a shell shocked Palermo team on Sunday evening.

The Bianconeri's 5-0 thrashing sent a clear warning shot to the rest of Serie A that they harbor legitimate title aspirations.

The only cause for concern for Juventus came when video cameras showed Alesandro Del Piero admonishing teammate Rafael Palladino after he dramatically railed after failing to receive a pass from Cristian Molinaro.

The young dynamo spoke about the incident on Monday, and of his respect for the Italian legend.

“I consider what happened on the field as a normal situation in football,” he said.

"True, I was a bit irritated but I respect Del Piero because he is our captain and I have no ill feelings towards him.

“It just displeases me that the incident was caught by the television cameras as I want to be a professional role model to the young kids.”

I'm still not as impressed by Palladino either. Despite his great technique, he still never does much concrete and in his case his supposed versatility is not a good thing. He isn't excelling in one position and probably won't get the chance to do so. When Giovinco comes back (albeit sooner or later), I think Palladino will slowly but surely find himself locked out of the team.

A formation with 3 strikers (4-3-3) makes it vital to have 5 strikers (DP,Trez,Iaquinta,Palla and Huntelaar).But,If Palla wont improve his 5-5,5 ratings in every match then i think we r gonna need more than Hunti.

yep i hate to say it but Palla will have to do something big this season otherwise he may become another squad player and not the star we want him to be

i dont think we have the defence for a 4-3-3, plus Ranieri seems to have shelved that formation since the Roma game...

I don't understand why people still expect Palladino to develop, become a star. This is it. Best he can do now is chase some consistency on the pitch. But at the end of the day, I see him becoming our new Zalayeta.

I would try to give him a Pirlo role actually. Do you remember where Pirlo used to play before Ancelotti put him where he is now? He was also a confused forward/winger/attacking midfielder with lots of technique being wasted.

i think u hit the nail on the head there...the guy doesn't quite know his role in the team...is he a RMF? a FW? RWF? he was played as striker last year and looked very promising...
