It's time to go!!

Nah, I don't think he had a lot to do with that, even though his arrival was very fishy to say the least.

This club (Ecxelsior Moucron) had been having financial problems for many years now. In the previous seasons, they always managed to work things out in the end, thus receiving their license.

The past season however turned out to be different. Their financial problems became worse every month & they should have never been given a license to start this season, yet they were awarded one, under strict conditions. Those strict conditions weren't met, so the license was revoked.

Everyone saw it coming for a long time. Yet, much to my surprise, in the summer a bunch of well known people (including Carboni) arrived at the club. Always seemed fishy to me why guys such as him would go to a foreign club that is in deep shit. Especially since there was pretty much no hope at all for new investments. I still can't figure out the reasons behind their arrival.
you think that despite rafa's demands to have carboni on board that the board will comply or do you think they have other plans that may ruin any chance of rafa joining?

don't get me wrong i want secco out as much as any other Juve fan out there, but for carboni? seriously?

4-2-3-1 is the way, as its so easy to transform it to a 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-2-1 and to win in modern football, you need that!.

I'd love to see something like this..

Buffon
RB - Kjær - Chiellini - Criscito
Melo - Machisio
Giovinco - Diego - Silva
Torres

Silva - Gio can switch. Or maybe Gio just aint good enough.
unfortunatly to say apparently rafa doesnt see gio in his plans

then again rafa's choice of wingers in the past have been utterly dire

And the talk about being simply lucky to win in 2005 is completely nullified with the fact that he made the final in 2007 and the semifinal in 2008.
You simply can't be so lucky to make the CL semifinals 3 times in 4 years.

Only if his name was Rafaelle Benitti. People here would have talked differently about him.

I wonder if the opinions here will change if he ends up winning Europa League this year.
That will make it 4 European finals in 8 European seasons.

But some are so shortsighted that nothing will satisfy them and they'll keep looking for silly excuses and reasons why not to appoint Benitez.
That's all well and good, but he's no Prandelli.

Honestly, I don't have a clue. But if you want to attract a big name coach like him, I'd imagine that you'll have to comply to most of his demands.
I am not against Benitez joining us (even though he is not my favourite), but I'm afraid it's gonna cost us an arm & a leg. Tricky situation we're in.

Oh, and I don't necessarily want Secco out.

Real Madrid have made Inter boss Jose Mourinho their No 1 target amid claims that Manuel Pellegrini will leave and take the Valencia job this summer.

Spanish daily newspaper Marca understands that Madrid have missed out on Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez and that Arsene Wenger has also said no, leaving Mourinho as the only other outstanding candidate for the job.

So what you're saying is that we should be more like Inter?
People actually made fun of Inter not having as many Italians as we do, would guarantee they wouldn't say the same thing about us.

Thnx. Funny thing is, instead of investing tens of millions in DMCs we could have kept the Zanetti-Marchisio pair, which to this date is the best..
We couldn't have kept Zanetti, he clearly declined since his injury last season and he hasn't been all that good this season.

Poor effort. :disagree:

:sergio: I knew it.

Just for the record, i was playing along with you and i think the idea of rejecting a world class player like Xavi just because a few Spanish players failed in the Serie A in the past is completely idiotic and illogical.
You are too smart for some folks here, Fred.

Are you aware of what the Azzurri fanboys would do to you after making such a horrible statement?

Can't you work well with Carboni? Who would you feel most comfortable working with?

Maybe something silly like 1 serious title challenge in 6 years, Juve need to be more than a cup team, I don't think Benitez can guarantee you that although I am not directly opposed to his appointment as such. Mostly down to the dross we have had recently.
But Prandelli or Allegri can guarantee us that? Come on, this is just nonsense here.

Valencia had made it to the CL final a year before Benitez arrived, and he had the same core team.

He is great if you have a strong team. His record with integrating transfers and developing young players is miserable. And that's what Juve needs right now, our team is not Scudetto worthy.
Developing young players? Oh, like Agger, Lucas, and Insua?

Yeah, he's done a miserable job with them alright.

More disinfo.

That's basically what it comes down to around here. Nothing else.
