Dr. Zacheryah: Discuttions of Budgeds

@Mark latest??
Laudisa seems to think something's happening to with with meelan. We'll see. Other reports say it's the player's decision to decide between Juve, inter and meelan. Then you have Beppe yesterday saying he'd great and would fit Conte's style of player but in another interview mentions we're not interested.

    Lucas is technically more talented then neymar. (apart from finishing). But he is "less intelligent" then neymar (quite a bit actually)

    I agree with conte ans so many others that marchisio is vital for out midfield. I dont know what bull$#@! comment you try to make, as conte himself said that many times, and many analysts praise the covering and shutteling ability of marchisio.

    Also, if agnelli forces a sale of pogba for a non Bale transferfee, he'll be righteously killed
    Many analysts can praise who they please but selection speak for itself as do performances on the field. A midfield needs to by dynamic, each player in a midfield trio needs to be able to impose themselves on a game. Marchisio rarely does this. Our team is progressing, developing, maturing, so are the teams of some of our direct rivals, presently napoli and roma. What seems the clearest to me is that our midfield is more dynamic, more powerful, stronger with pogba in the line-up in place of marchisio. His 'shutteling and covering' is less positive for our team than the potency of pogba in the line-up. Marchisio becomes invisible too often for my liking, and his form has been off for most of 2013. On the opposite side, Pogba and Vidal have gone fromt strength to strength.

    As for your comment about Agnelli...I see now there is little point discussing matters with you. I'm by now too long in the tooth and jolly off the screen for fiery forum squabbles. Shame we did not coolide a few years back, zach! hohoho!

    Pogba being chosen ahead of Marchisio says nothing about Marchisio. Pogba is just excellent.
    It says Pogba is a better player, or better fit for our team. That is the whole point...Pogba is too good to leave out the line-up. Marchisio, it seems, less so. Which is generally how selection works. A manager chooses the best players.

    Buffon is chosen ahead of Storari because he is a better keeper than storari...nevermind eh! I work on selection based on value to the team, form and individual talent. Some here, clearly do not. Any why not eh!! Each to their own...I'll stick with Conte on this one. And it will be interesting to see what happens when Pirlo returns to full fitness. I expect to see Claudio benched.

    The problem with Marchisio is he's a great player. But, in our system he obviously can't bench Pirlo. His two other 'rivals' so to speak are Vidal and Pogba. Both are currently better. So there is no room for him when we're at full strength

    When Pirlo goes, a midfield of Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba could work, however not in a 3-5-2. There isn't enough creativity in that set up. In a formation with some top wingers however, it would probably work.

    He can either start most games in a club that is currently barely a step up, no realistic chance at trophies and piss poor overall. Or accept less playing time with us but with a great chance to finally win trophies, get European football etc etc.
