Marotta was asked about the January transfer window, as Mirko Vucinic has been linked with a move to England, while Juve are among those chasing Cagliari midfielder Nainggolan.

“Mirko is still recovering from a knee injury. If someone wants to leave then they will be allowed to go, but so far we have not heard any such sentiment expressed.
“As for Nainggolan, he is a great player and one that is ideal for Conte’s Juventus philosophy. We have a good rapport with Cagliari, so we’ll see what happens.

“Would his arrival mean selling Arturo Vidal? No, at least for this season no big names will be leaving.”

I'm not quite liking the last part.

All i'm going to say is i'd rather be in a continuous flow of bank loans instead of becoming a selling club to 'balance books'

Worrying statement, I guess it probably just means Pogba will end up being sold for mega cash. Which I can kind of live with.

Calm down.

Apparently football italia pulled the last part out of their asses, Vidal wasn't mentioned at all. :sergio:

Question 'cause I'm bored: If you had to sell one of Vidal or Pogba next summer, who would it be?
It's a no-brainer, really. Let's say we sell Vidal, quite possible Pogba will demand a transfer season after.
It's great having Pogba around but definitely I would sell him before Arturo.

Vidal is and will grow further into a more mature stalwart. Pogba has the potential to grow into a player driven by his ego in the wrong environment. He's still a kid so he tows the line, but at 24-25, when he's no longer a baby, he will be the kind of player that will be a lot more temperamental perhaps. I think Juve are also aware that Vidal is also the kind of player who is more likely to stay loyal in harder times. He's kind of old school in that sense. Pogba is still a modern day player, bound by the tangibles that surround his kind. And of course, there's the small matter of Raiola being his agent. He's off to Madrid or PsG IMO. But I'd definitely fight to hold onto him for another season at least.

Pogba can go for Bale money, so if we had to sell one it would be him tbh. It wouldn't bother me if we sold Pogba because we would get more money than he is really worth because we will hold out for a crazy oil money offer.

Sell Pogba for Bale money, use 70m to balance the books.
Ye we have to be realistic, we have a lot of build up debt. When we clear our debt in a couple of years down the road then we can start bringing in those star players that will make the difference for us domestically and in Europe.
