I think Nainggolan is overrated here at the Tuz, and I believe a lot of members would be really disappointed in him. Also, I don't see him getting much playing time considering the midfielders we already have. Would he accept to be a Padoin-type bench player at Juve? If he would, then it's an okay move I guess (if he's not too expensive).

I don't think he's overrated. Slightly overpriced, probably.

I was not a fan of his really and 1 year ago when I saw his price tag was around 15mln I was kinda shocked. However when I watched more of him I'd say it was not a huge exaggeration as I think he should cost around 12mln (price is really relevant). But during the last summer I think I've seen 17mln bids for him. It might be false but I believe that was too much for a player of his qualities.

Still, I think he's quite good player and he can improve almost any squad in Italy. We're pretty stacked in that department but considering Pirlo is not getting any younger I think he'd get decent playing time here. He reminds me of Inler (who had pretty high price back in the day). Then again I really really thin it's pointless to even consider such move because we have Asamoah who should be getting that spot because he's a beast there. We should simply search for a LW but it seems that won't be happening any time soon and I have no idea why.

Indeed, Asamoah is better in that position. I agree with the sentiment that we should be on the lookout for an LWB instead, and in times of crisis, let Asamoah slot into the centre midfield spot.

Nainggolan is a good, sturdy player, who is by no means spectacular at what he does. But he's a "good" player, not disagreeing there.

He's good I rate him a lot but we need that RWF much more imo. Now we're at point we could use 433 in cl and we have nobody for that spot.

Considering we currently have Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio and even Asamoah (no need to mention Padoin) I don't think we need any bigger quality to fill MC spot even if we do chase one.

 People believe that he would just slot into our midfield. Not going to happen.

What available wing-backs are out there that would improve us?

If we find one then that's great. But if not we need a midfielder badly

Giach and Marrone would have been enough cover, but putting Padoin in CM for one of MVPP would really screw us imo
Coentrao who played only 4 games so far in the league for Real.
Kolarov maybe, even if he's more of a left back.

Why Nainggolan though, I don't get it? Buy a LWB instead and move Asamoah over to midfield. 2 bird with 1 stone.
name some LWBs who we could get in jan that would be better than nainggolan at cm/asamoah lwb and that also wouldn't be cup tied for cl

Nainggolan is not overrated, he's a very good player who is unfortunately in a pretty poor team. He would be even better if he came here. We only have 4 top quality midfielders for a mf of 3. I really can't see how that is overly 'stacked'. If one guy is out then our best sub for cm is padoin since conte won't play asamoah there.

stacked midfield? pogba cheesio vidal pirlo im assuming? no need to include asamoah cuz there isnt the slightest inkling that conte looks in that direction...so stacked with 4...and marchisio hasnt been all that great leaving..3 mids....so with pirlo injured that means 2...with CL/Serie A and to minor degree Coppa....hmmm

stacked? i dont see it..especially for a club with targets such as ours..by saying stacked we assume that all our mids performances have been on fire which game to game is not the case...u need to have options..again, thinking about the targets we should be aspiring to.

Should spend the money on Nani instead and get Raiola to ship us Matuidi for free.
he is a luxury compared to cm and also lwb.

they are the two positions we still need players for.

nainggolan + coentrao :tuttosport:

then after we focus on changing attack if we need to. tevez & nando are beasting anyway. I don't see nani as an individual improvement over any of our starting cms/fws.

We have 5cms and not one winger, yet Nani is a luxury.

We can change formation for Europe with wingers. To me, a winger is a more important signing because any CM we sign will have an easy time adapting because of our other great CMs around him while a winger naturally plays an isolated position.

I agree a CM is a priority but I don't know if it has to be such a high quality player. Vidal and Pogba are going to be playing as much as possible for the next while. Then there's Marchisio for sure. And Asamoah can still play CM. All 4 of them are better than Nainggolan. Someone like Matuidi on a free could be good enough when combining him with our other great CMs.
