we've used the 4-3-3, what twice this season as a starting formation?
How can you expect us to use it when we don't have players for it?

Conte mentioned this issues a few times.

I like Nainggolan a lot and would take him in a heartbeat, but it still doesn't him a priority.

I'd rather have Nainggolan than any of the current LB, RW who are on the market.

We really do need a fourth midfielder and he possesses the skillset Vidal has which no other midfielder in the team has.

He'd be a fantastic signing without a doubt.
Marchisio's invisibility, pun intended? :D

Lucas Moura and Radja Nainggolan! That's all I want for X-mas! It's possible fuck what our finances say. We can afford them if we advance in CL + stadium revenues, new deal with Bwin and Samsung, Adidas new deal in the coming years, We win serie A again... Get a 3-4 years payment with Cagliari... Moura is 21 worth about 30M.. He will have more playing time at Juve then at PSG.. We sell DC, Vucinic, etc etc... IT'S POSSIBLE... More than Mata worth 45M.. Nuff' said.

@Ocelot, thats exactly what i meant.
Nainggolan would accept rotation cos its only now that he is making a step up to a big club.
Matuidi on the other hand is already at a club which is competing for the cl and a starter there as well so unless he is being paid insane wages its highly unlikely he accepts a limited role at Juve.

we have barely used it since 2012. I really don't think it is a main priority.

let's not forget he will also get a massive increase in salary also. google says he makes €450k a year. I think we pay/paid marrone half of that. so probably his wage will be at least tripled/quadrupled.

Wasn't it 4-3-3 that Conte mentioned?
in regards to what?

as far as I can recall we only started it twice this season. I don't think Conte is interested in making it our main formation, considering how little it used.

In response to him allegedly saying he wanted to use 4-2-4. I think he knows that is impossible with Pirlo at the club, but 4-3-3 he has said several times he wanted to use but doesn't have the players for.

yet it worked pretty well vs real madrid. I think it's an excuse.

Surely for either 4-2-4 or 4-3-3 you need actual wide men?

I don't think either is possible right now, although yeah 4-2-4 is even less of a possibility with Pirlo around

Not entirely sure how i'd feel about a 4-2-4, sounds like it could wipe the floor with bad teams but get overran against the big boys. Also, Vidal and Pogba would probably have a hell of a lot less freedom to push up.

It worked as a measure, but it's not realistic to expect Marchisio or Tevez to play that role for any stretch of matches.
why not? if it worked against possibly our hardest opponents of the season and conte tried it without any earlier experience besides training I don't think it's unreasonable.

marchisio played as LM under del neri a lot also
