You guys are writing him off too quickly. That's like saying DiMaria is shit too. It's really about how a player adapts to a league, team and style of play. If he's scored top goals in his career before there's no reason why he can't do it again. It's all about finding your rhythmn in a team and league and culture that makes you comfortable. I would still take Falcao if he reduced wages and I'd still definitely take DiMaria even if he didn't reduce em.

Di Maria isn't coming off a serious knee injury.

Falcao hasn't proven he's the same player he was before the injury.

It's not as easy as FalcOFF and FalcON. He's going to need some time to find his rhythm again, it's only natural that would happen. I would say his next season in Europe wherever he ends up will be far more fruitful.

thing is, Falcao at 70% of his best is still a beast. the question is, how much of his top form is he capable of recovering after such an injury. i think the upcoming Copa America will do him good, where he would get to play actual football, unlike whatever United has been playing this season

i still believe he can recover if he come to us. the league suits him better and our team and its mentality suit him better. if we can get him for the wages we offered to Cavani (7.5M including bonuses) on a loan then i would definitely do it. even if it wasnt a loan. for a relatively low transfer fee in the 20M range he would still be a great transfer. would love him here to play alongside Tevez Morata and Dybala

AT least Cavani is fit and kicking. Falcao is a bit question mark and as old.

Im pretty sure that if he comes he will fnid some of his form again, this team seems to be magical right now.... but the price and his wages will be outrageous.

He is like a cavani deal but with more risk of failure.

The links re Falcao as well as Robin Van Persie and Higuain keep on re-emerging. Irritatingly. The Tuttosport front page today, another attempt (re falcao)to revive a basket case that is breathing his last few gasps in the intensive care unit.

FalcaON if:
1.wagecut to 5m after tax;
2.loan with redepmtion fee of no more than 25 mils.

Times change - now he is chasing the CL finalists and Big Money doesn't want him. FFS even his old small-time club, which we've beaten this year,even they don't want him.
