hmm i guess i wasn't asking about approval/disapproval or anything, i was just curious how it affected you personally and how passionately you feel about it.
It's like...most of my friend's Korean parents hate Japanese people, because they took over the country for a few decades, and killed and raped and tortured. But since our generation grew up in Australia, we don't feel as much about it as our parents would.
That's what I thought about: approval/disapproval, cause then it's obviously that everyone disapprove that.
Over here: people rather dont hate Germans anymore.
People in my generation or in generation of my parents.
These days we are fine with them.
I'm fine with them, cause my grandparents never would let me to feel in other way. They were involved in the war, they were fighting against Germans (one of my grandfathers and one of my grandmothers) and even that they remember many horrible events, they taught us only to remember about the past, not to hate cause of that.
