RC wastes a lot of free kicks, he just smacks them either straight at the wall or out for a goalkick. At least Zambro just stays away and lets the freekicks be more useful :)

I think that zambrotta could even learn to take freekicks.
If he can do accurated passes...why not powefull accurated shots in the upper corners of the goals? ;)

i like Zambrotta better for two reasons:

he performs all the leftback duties and he's better behaved that RC.

Roberto is way faster, has a better shot and scores more, but Zambrotta is more complete because he's better defensively.

zambi is so sexy and goodlooking comparing to carlos. and everyone agrees with me on that!

speed: carlos, but zambi has improved so much this season. probably next year he will win over this component
tackling: zambi
crossing: zambi
experience: carlos
freekicks: carlos
passes: tie
defensive mode: defenitely zambi
dribbling: zambi
strength: tie

zambi: 4
carlos: 3
ties: 2

Hey, don't get me wrong, I love Zambi...

but i think speed-wise, Bobby will always be faster....a player can't really improve his speed that much. What he can do, though, is just improve his play so much that the speed advantage is negated.

dribbling, I'd probably say Bobby too.

gray don't forget that zambi still has time and space to improve when IMO carlos can't improve anymore. what he can do is try to be all the time in form and by this avoid fitness problems

but zambi has improved his speed. it can be the result of improving his play but still this is quite obvious. at least to me

I think this is too biased Tina

R carlos is a bag of muscles...and he is very technical too.

a word for rc, one of my favs, he is a class above all other as a player, he has "magic" on the ball, and it lightening quick, the only thing we can criticise him for is that he isnt the world best denfender, where as zambro is not the worlds best attacking midfielder.

Hey guys what about us signing Carlos, and moving Zambro to the right back.....That way we wouldn't have this discussion.....And by the way, no way that Zambro is faster, that's just plane stupid......If he keeps on developing and improwing he would be better than Bobby in one or a couple of seasons, but for now Bobby is better...........

Zambrotta has improved his pace so much and seems to be getting stronger physically. R.Carlos: 96(speed) 92 (acceleration) Zambro 94 (speed) 90 (acceleration). One important factor is stamina. Anyone who plays footie knows that pace is helped by the level of stamina a man has. Im a natural sprinter but my stamina isnt te best. So I cant hit top speed all the time. I have to well.. pace myself:D and pick my time otherwise I'll drain myself. From what I've seen so far Zambro is near Nedveds fitness level so he can be just as lethal in the dying mins of a game:cool: Carlos is getting old.

Yeah it's amazing how Zambrotta can still run up and down the field with no problem at all even when it's the last mins of a match.

Word:cool: And Its easy for us to judge, but the pros play on massive pitches and they make it seem so easy on the tele. Im just sad that Piero has lost his pace of old cause its such a vital attribute.

Probably for Zambrotta, the 90 mins of a match are just his warming up :D
