agreed fully...who knows he may even displace licht in the manager's eyes

i keep telling ppl we dont know who our starters are...its what they show in training and in matches...and i beieve romulo can displace lichsteiner eventualy
i dont know if he is good or bad i didnt watch him much, but the idea of buying him make me believe that we are going to sell one from our starting 11( liche or vidal )

I know nothing about this player. Like Preyera he aint costing much so it doesnt bother me. What nationality is he?
he is italian. prandelli included him in the final 23-men-squad for the world cup but he turned it down, because he saw himself at only 70%... i hope i remember that correctly ^^

These loan with 'options' plus relatively cheap veterans on short terms deals (Pereyra, Romulo?, Evra, Eto'o?) suggest we will be assigning the rest of our budget for 'this season' (inb4 financial experts) to the holy grail 'player we need'.

It's not like we are signing players in sequence of highest priority first, the market only works like that if you can piss away cash.

exactly. complain all you want if we end up buying some cunt for 10m instead of a player like jovetic, shaqiri or whoever is a hot name right now.
players like romulo and pereyra gathered the interest of half of serie a. you either buy them early or you don´t buy them at all.

they will probably replace isla and padoin and that´s absolutely fine.

Exactly.

The only concern I have is that it might be very difficult to sell both of Isla and Padoin.
iirc both were linked to several teams. isla had a solid WC and padoin doesn´t strike me as a leech.
but we will see. i don´t think that we would buy pereyra and romulo if we weren´t at least confident that we can sell isla and padoin :D.

i agree about that both of them ( pereyra and domulo ) will come with almost no cost and if they works for us we can buy them for fair price, but i think one of them is enough.

I'm not complaining but sharing my worries. The pot has the bottom somewhere and I'm afraid we're hitting it with those moves which would mean no proper winger/am in the name of expanding the bench.

We'll see but I'd rather Marotta focused on players like Shaqiri and Jovetic. We can live without Romulo but not exactly without am/winger.

Yeah.. even had me excited about isla, good man.

Without getting sticky, whats your thoughts on him?
He was quite solid/good when I saw him play (and I said I'd like to see him here lol!). Still, I wouldn't like to judge cause I haven't seen him play many times :boh: but he's quite effective.

    But I don't think it's a bad move at all since he's coming as a bench/rotation player.

What's worrying is that we're only upgrading our bench this summer.
