Let them keep Quagliarella, we took Iaquinta from them,
Trezequet signed an extension, we will not buy another forward this year,
if Quagliarella, repeats things like the brace, he performed for NT
and confirm his value,
then, we will/might consider him next year, if he fails we avoid the unnecessary costs/risks.

Report: Quagliarella to play for Udinese

MILAN, Italy (AP) - Fabio Quagliarella is set to play for Udinese next season.

Quagliarella had been linked to Manchester United, Juventus and Sampdoria, despite Udinese gaining full rights to the striker last week.
"Quagliarella is staying in Udine," his agent Silvio Pagliari was quoted as saying by Italian news agency Apcom on Wednesday. "Fabio needs to play with continuity and (Udinese) can be an excellent launch pad."

Udinese outbid Sampdoria for the 23-year-old Italian on Friday. The two clubs had jointly held his rights last season when he played for Sampdoria, scoring 13 goals in the Serie A.

Quagliarella scored his first two goals for Italy earlier this month in a 2-0 win over Lithuania.

Id take the Quag over the bianchi, purely as i see a Palla/Quag formation as potentially brialliant, where as Bianchi / Palla much more static.

We're closer to Bianchi anyway...Napoli want him also but let's see who he choses and if we really want him. ;)
Reggina go for Higuain

Wednesday 27 June, 2007
With Rolando Bianchi practically in a Napoli jersey, Reggina are looking to River Plate starlet Federico Higuain for his replacement.

Bianchi formed part of the most prolific strike partnership in Serie A this past season, netting 18 goals along with Nicola Amoruso’s 17.

He is very close to signing for newly promoted Napoli, while Amoruso has been heavily linked with Palermo, so action is needed from the club.

President Lillo Foti (pictured) has set his sights on 23-year-old Argentine Higuain, the physically imposing centre-forward currently impressing scouts at River Plate.

Federico is the brother of Real Madrid man Gonzalo Higuain and could soon follow his sibling to Europe.

Reggina, who will have Coach Massimo Ficcadenti at the helm, are also keeping an eye on Nacional de Montevideo central defender Agustin Viana.

The club has already signed fellow Uruguayan Pablo Alvarez on a four-year contract.

This evening the Amaranto confirmed another two buys within Italy. Rimini midfielder Emanuele Cascione has been snapped up along with Pistoiese defender Lorenzo Collachioni.
