You are full of bias and hypocrisy. That bit about history and tradition is the lamest part. And in the end, I don't know why this is the rich oil sheikhs you are hating on, from what you are telling us it seems it would be impossible to bribe an organization located in the most developed continent whose president is also from one of the most developed countries of the world. To me, trying to host a World Cup is the most legitimate thing to do, especially when you got the cash, infrastructure and the young eager audience but then if there are so many things wrong with you hosting a world cup, it's those who hand you the chance who are to blame.
The rich oil creeps are cool, they love Americans and we love them. Euroslobs just need to deal with the fact they will never, ever be as successful as the capitalist US once was. Ah yes, freedom built on the ruins of other societies - how I envy that carnevorous approach to boosting your own life quality. How many people in the middle east, middle and south America had to pay for you freedom and material wealth.
