I really dont understand all this obsession about cassano...he is good but he is a pain in the a$$. he is troublesome, arrogant and overrated. Juve could do much better than him!

Agreed. Cassano's brilliant but I'd rather we stick with Mutu for now.

This is how I look at it.

Zebina/Cannavaro/Thuram imo is all we need at the moment. Same applies to Blazi/Nedved/Emerson/Camoranesi.

If the starting players are injured, it doesn't really matter who is on the bench- the game will not be on the same level.

So, what's the point of buying "good" defenders/midfielders?

I think this is the time to buy other defenders as there r already rumours that Tudor will be leaving as well. + there r also rumours about Chivu. We need some backup defender to support Canna/Thuram + they r not young anymore l;osing their pace in a season or 2, so a replacement will be ideal.

As for our midfield I think we r self-sufficient.

Since Mutu is already here, I will take Mutu anytime of the day. I don't think we need Cassano anyway since the minumum price of him is 20 million euros.
