Puyol is past his prime, IMO, but he'd be a great acquisition. Don't see it happening, though.
Past his prime? Are you kidding? HE may not be as spectacular as when he played at right back, but he's an amazing defender and certainly one of the world's best. Furthermore, he's 27, hardly too old...

Parisi is a nice wingback to complement Zambro too. Definitely would like to see that acquisition as well, and that one is perhaps a little more likely. I haven't been as impressed with his defensive skills as his amazing set piece ability. Sort of like Ze Maria in some respects.
Parisi has a really hard shot, and that's about it. He's slow and a poor maker. He can't tackle worth a damn, and his positioning is shameful. As a wingback it's even worse. His crosses are poorly placed, and I've never seen him dribble player, despite trying. We already have a few free-kick specialists on the team, and IMO, Birindelli ahs everything Parisi does, except better. Parisi is sort of like Ian Harte, only not as good, and that's why we didn't sign him in the summer and we're not going to sign him now.

Juventus is interested in Joaquin and Puyol ;) not ordinary spanish players ;) Puyol would be a dream come true! IMAGINE:

Zambrotta-Cannavaro-Thuram-Puyol

-------------------Buffon

= The worlds greatest defence of all time :p
