Marco Baroni’s Primavera side are preparing to face their third cup game of the season on Wednesday. The young Bianconeri are currently in excellent shape, having strung together ten positive results (eight victories and two defeats). Such form has seen them go clear at the top of the table with a game in hand to be played before the Christmas break. Nearest rivals Fiorentina and Livorno currently trail the league leaders by two and three points respectively.

After overcoming Napoli in the last-sixteen courtesy of a 4-1 second leg victory, Juventus will now travel to Rome to contest the quarter-final first leg against Lazio. The Bianconeri will host the return encounter on Saturday 17 December, in their final game of 2011.

Is there a youth product that will break into the first team like Marchisio, Giovinco and De Ceglie?

Ravanelli: "Yes, Giuseppe Sapone. He's a cut above the rest. His style is similar to Xavi and Pizarro. He has the qualities to be a first team player in the future."
