As long as Trap is in charge, Italy will never fulfill it's enormous potential to be able to play attacking football with an attacking formation. With Trap, it's 4-4-2 this and 4-4-2 that...However, the following is my dream Italy line-up:

Oddo Cannavaro Nesta Coco
Pirlo
Zambrotta Di Natale
Totti
Del Piero Corradi
As you can see, the above formation is a 4-1-2-1-2, with the emphasis on the attack. Pirlo would be in a position to move forward but be able to help out the defence, while Zambrotta and Di Natale would be based in the centre but move out wide. Totti would be given a free role while I think Del Piero and Corradi would be great paired together.

Finland has some very talented players. Niemi's been one of the better keepers in the EPL this season, Hyypia is a monster in defence. Should be a good game.

From what I know, Finland are stronger in the centre than they are out wide, and imo it would be easier to break down their defence with wide players in our offensive third, hence the 4-2-3-1 formation that was used against Portugal.

Inzaghi and Gattuso picked up muscular problems during the 2-1 victory over Juventus and Milan medical staff suggested they were not fit to play in the Euro 2004 qualifier.
Alessandro Del Piero also featured in that match, but needs more time on the field to fully recover after six weeks out with a thigh strain.
However, Christian Vieri and Francesco Totti have recovered from on-going fitness worries and return to the Azzurri fold.
Giovanni Trapattoni has made some interesting selections, calling Bernardo Corradi and Fabrizio Miccoli for their first official caps after impressing in the friendly 1-0 win over Portugal.

Yea, I know that he's only just come back from injury, but he was fit to play 45 minutes against Milan, so why shouldn't he be alright to go for an hour a week later? :undecide:Anyways, it's good to see younger players like Corradi and Miccoli in the squad, and Delvecchio was quite impressive against Portugal, so I don't mind him in there either.
