European football is a farce
I think EPL has a net expenditure of 1 or 2Bi this season. While La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundes and Serie A have, altogether, a positive of around 300M in net income.

It's starting to crash and burn, honestly. I just don't know when will it actually affect the attendance numbers around these leagues. It's not only that EPL teams are ridiculously stacked, but that other Leagues are quickly losing its appeal/value.

Yep :)

Diniz is fiercedly loved by some, hated by others... it's divisive. He had some spectacular moments last season, also this a few this season beating Flamengo 4-1 in a final and River Plate 5-1 (worst loss of their history in Libertadores). In its height, the team pushes forward, with gengenpressing, and plays some beautiful passing football.

But the team has been downhill for 3 months now, and he really - REALLY - can't adapt to new ways of playing, apart from that "total football" bullshit. Him and players got caught by the media fanfare and believed the hype, overplaying the passing style and groupment of players in one side of the pitch. The result, the team is sometimes unbearable with side passing and obsession from builduing it up from the GK - when some of these guys can't play that sort of football. Team is hard to beat at home in Maracana, but horrible in away games, where it's harder to prevail with that error prone style.

He's also terrible at deloping youngsters, tends to trust his old guard no matter their performance. He's very loyal, but also incredibly stubborn.

All in all, the guy has excellent qualities as a team leader and great group motivator - he's a player's coach, also excellent at keeping guys driven. He's obviously one of the best coaches in the country, probably the best Brazilian one - as we absolutely lack new names in that front.

He has some sort of Conte's like edge - it's almost unmatched -, along with the obsession for beautiful ballplaying and building from the back football (not positional, but based on movement of the players). But he drives his team to the ground, and when intensity fades, all is left are passing errors and counters to the opponent. His obsession, that is his biggest strength, also becomes his biggest limitation.

I don't think he's suited for the NT at all. But people here really aren't caring much about it anymore.

I hope man City win every major trophy they can for the next decade. Only way out of state owned mega clubs is to turn off the casuals from paying for all these subscriptions
