It’s tempting to chuckle at this. But we shouldn’t.

A club that size has a very close-knit fanbase, generally older than people that go to watch Utd or City, who are down the road. And it’s often generational, quite common for son, dad & grandad to go together.

For it to now be all of a sudden, ‘no, you can’t do that anymore.’ Well, it could be wrenching for some fans who are otherwise a little isolated from normal social situations.

Also, Bury is a weird place. Let’s say the people there are not as balanced as other Lancastrians (FYI for USA’uns that’s a county in England - picture a more working class, but less scally infested Manchester).

Oh boy, he puts pressure on his own coach out of spite of being benched.

Matic: "If Manchester United doesn't contend for the title, it will be Solskjaer's fault"

gotta love those clubs that air their dirty laundry in the press. such a sign that everything is stable and well run.

thats why i loved it so much when Sarri and then Can did it here.

He is an American. He might honestly not know that there are two separate teams from Manchester.

there are many Americans who know that somewhere in Europe there is a soccer team called Manchester United and that's about it.
