Apparently Lingard and Fred received some racist abuse from the Manchester City fans, the NBC Sports commentators were talking about it at the end of the game. They even specifically pointed out a guy in the stands. Lets see how different the response is when compared to Italy.

Imagine being that City fan. Turn up, don't even cheer for your own team, just hurl objects and racial slurs at the opposing black players. Class act.

Tbh Rijkaard didn't do the same with pretty much the same team.

He's overrated but still a good coach (with weaknesses)

He still won the CL and the league. Also, Xaivi and Iniesta were still up and coming. However, like you said though, you can be good but overrated and that pretty much sums up Guardiola.

I saw that they removed one guy pretty quickly as he chose to make monkey gestures on live tv.
