Morata was poor in Serie A too. Was great on the counter vs open defenses in CL under a coach who capitalized on his strength.

Not suited for a high possession Sarri team in a more conventional CF role.

Giroud is very good and useful. Not WC but the type of player generally underrated by the fanboy types. Scored one goal or gave one assist every 117 minutes in his career (in comparison, Rooney every 120 mins and Drogba every 113 mins) and seems to have a penchant for golasos.

Morata is great when it isn't up to him to score all the goals. It allows him the freedom to create spaces for others, dribble past defenders and make assists. When he's the target man, he's awful.
